Like I said, I'm not trying to turn any real profit. Breaking even would be great; I just wanna introduce seasonal and grail BAPE stuff to my city. That's all.
Unless you're making mad money you're going to need to do better than break even cause opening a store and paying rent and electricity and employees and insurance and blah blah blah is going to be a fortune if you aren't turning out a profit. Between that and whatever else you do your lifei s going to be tons of work.......... At least make it like a 20 dollar profit, and who knows maybe you can work out a bulk deal with pondon or something and she'll give you a discount

Breaking even would = losing no money whatsoever... that includes any fees associated with store keeping.

I play online poker for a living. I do well. It wouldn't be about making money.

Ha seriously?? That's ill what site(s)?

id believe jv, he knows his stuff

but opening a shop def isnt worth it. maybe an online store, but i dunno. its tough to resell bape these days unless you get super good deals. people on bt are so used to cheap bt prices that we all now think of going to nyc to spend 200 and its like psh get it cheaper on bt. so i mean unless you live in japan, reselling for a living isnt such a great idea = /

wow seriously muchen? bape doesnt wholesale, simple as that. it says it on their website. why do you think its so hard to get bape? why do you think cliff gets so little stock? pondon has a connection with a rep high up in bape so she doesnt wait in lines. and people give their items to stay and they sell them and stay keeps a percent of the profit.

I have the funds to buy a lot of BAPE/BBC/IC stuff at one time. I live in Baltimore, MD... BAPE is sort of getting a bit hotter here, and a friend of mine resells a lot of Japanese clothing/shoes at his store... I gave him some NYC Camo Parkas and some NFS denim to sell and it sold within a day. Think it would be worth it to open a tiny shop in the city... buy like two of each size in popular T's and Hoodies... get some Stas/Roadies size 8-11? Any input appreciated.

what part of baltimore are you in cause i'm form Baltimore and only a few people are smart enough to know the difference between real and fake stuff and even fewer are willing to pay for the real stuff. But i would say if your gonna open a spot go down town and try there people are more willng to shell out cash for clothes.

why open a store? Consider this: 1) Its 2007, and 2) We are talking about BAPE. What do these 2 factors lead to....its easier to open a store on-line. First, think of it economically: no stupid high rent costs, less risk, less overhead $, and the laws are much more mendable. Second, bape is a highly talked about brand on the net/blogs/etc...thus, it only makes sense to have a store a click away. Third, why open a babe re-sell store in a state that already has a BWS? Although it may be your dream to own your own physical store, id try to be more like pondon than union - less risk.

MD doesn't have a BWS
Everyone seems to think that I live in NY even though I've stated several times that I live in MD.

And I agree with you Huxtable, people genuinely don't give a rat's ass about authenticity; however, this is the case in almost all states with a sort of BAPE epidemic.

And stop with this online store business. An online store wouldn't educate Baltimore on anything BAPE related.

And I do agree much, Huxtable, that opening downtown would be the only choice.
