well i'm not going to fight with crs-1 because he's been doing this just as long as i have....if not longer and it's true nobody is above getting fucked......at the end of the day all i was trying to say was that it's best to stick with the most well known sellers........for example pondon does not have everything but i'll happily buy something from her that gives me close to the same vibe of what i was looking for before i go to someone that is a complete stranger........even if you use paypal it can take weeks to find the needle in the haystack and they still might not rule in your favor.....just go for what you know i always say
Not fighting at all mate I wasnt suggesting anyone wasnt legit or singling people out but you see it too often "I got screwed by ........ he has tons of refs and I thought he was legit"

Its your duty as a seller to protect yourself from unscrupulous buyers who claim not to have received the item by

Sending trackable/insured
Declaring your item for the proper amount in case it goes missing
Doing an Ebay auction
Posting up proof of shipping

I am sure like me you wouldnt be offended if a buyer asked you to do anything like this, because you have nothing to hide.

I am happy to give everyone the benefit of the doubt but too many kids selling to make a quick profit, who either dont have a clue or dont care.

yeah crs is right
e.g if you mark it as low value and it goes missing dont think youll get what you got paid back. ive stopped it now on ebay, when i sell i mark full value.
always send signed for, but offer the cheaper option of airmail but always guarentee that incase it goes missing nothing you can do. its worth the extra $ for the buyer and seller in case of loss.
if you dont feel safe on here for somehting worth a lot, i.e over $150. do it via ebay. yes there are fees but its extremely hard to be scammed.
always get proof of tracking and say you wont deal unless its supplied

every seller should agree to this if the buyer requires it and if they dont they should give a valid reason why and then the buyer can decide whether to go through with the deal or not

may be losing some money via fees and postage but trsut me how pissed youll be if you send something worth $250 out and it gets lost

if your buying to sell on, bear in mind these factors.

to nayone who doesnt stick to those steps fair enough but always tell the buyer!

or the buyer should ASK
when people see items they love their hasty.
think it through.
refs are pretty vital but can be exploited. check ebay history etc and when people list their refs dont just leave it, ask the refs how smooth the transaction was
if they got their item 3 weeks after they paid youll never know till u ask

Well I see both sides of the story...especially being someone who was on the losing end of a lulleinbs transaction...I get why the people scammed are asking for dude's head and want him banned but they also need to understand that in dealing with someone who is a veritable newcomer has its risks involved (something I definitely took into account).
At the end of the day, we all made the choice to do business with him and some lost out on money and others on items, but now you know that you can't be trusting of everyone on here. For me, this is the first time that a transaction has actually gone sour and I've always bought from lesser known members, so it just depends on the individual situations.

Ok i think many of you know my situation!

I have signed lulleinbs emails up for spam emails the other day. It took about five minutes and it looks like it caused him to make a new account. Gotta get to signing his new one up, too.
but he still uses the account???

ebay member david_j_paterson17.

no scamming, no flaking, but behavior i don't stand for.

i bought a bbc red arch hat from him a few months back. advertised as "worn once or twice", size 7 1/2, etc.

didn't receive any word form him once i had paid, but it did arrive a week or so later.

so not only was the hat not a 7 1/2, but i was flat. flat like a pancake.

this guy shipped a fitted from the uk to the us in a fucking envelope. lacking common sense or what? if i wanted a flat hat, i would throw a textbook on it myself.

i filed a claim and soon canceled it and stupidly gave the guy the benefit of the doubt when he said he would refund me. now i see that was a mistake.

this transaction has been a HUGE pain, and i strongly advise anyone before doing business with that user.

to add, a refund will be issued once i return the hat to him. yeah, shipping to the uk without any form of reliable tracking means i'm out of my money. i'm not spending $3x for express mail.

and the sad part is i've sold to the guy in the past in some $xxx transactions.

shady guy.

I was talking to wealth about this.

He could ship it back, but it really wouldn't matter unless he opted for a more expensive shipping method. And express to the UK is like $35.

Any cheaper method doesn't really guarantee the item will be delivered in a timely fashion, and items send non-express don't provide a detailed tracking.

It's a lose-lose situation.

I know he already left the guy neg. feedback.

I saw the hat he got though. Flat as a pancake is right.
