I reckon this is most appropriate place to put a FLAKER/SCAMMER alert, so that you can have a quick look before your buying..
THIS!^^pissed.
This is why I think they shouldn't ban scammers but give them a red sta above their avatar or something to show they are a scammer as you'll probably get nothing back even if you were in the 45 days as all contact info is private.
So you mean rub it the face of the person who got scammed that the scammer is still enjoying the site. Not only that, but have people constantly reminding the thief that he is a thief and creating arguments because no-one with any decency wants to talk to such low-life scum. Need I go on? Please think before you type.THIS!

Wow, I think you should THINK before you type.So you mean rub it the face of the person who got scammed that the scammer is still enjoying the site. 1) - It would be difficult for them to participate on the site fully i.e. further market place transactions, pictures in battles et cetera if they were still allowed access. Also it is rubbing it in the face. Ask diddi how he feels participating in a forum conversation and sees BBC Joe joining in? Clearly he is going to be reminded of the $400 Joe scammed him for. But who cares hey? He has a red star (wow) that shows everyone he is a bad boy and don't do biz with him but have a laugh with him on the site anyway! It's like having a paedophile teaching at a school but don't worry cos we all know he is a child rapist!Wow, I think you should THINK before you type.
#1. Do you honestly think a scammer wouldn't be able to access the site if banned? I don't think its rubbing it into the face of the person being scammed at all, a red star or any sort of marker showing that a person is a scammer is already enough to prove the point, and would help things more than if the person gets banned.
Which links to #2...
#2. Banning someone automatically means the scammer will have no communication with the buyer, so even IF
the scammer was willing to pay back he/she would not feel obliged to do so anymore.
#3. How is constant reminder to a thief a bad thing? Would you rather the thief run away without any remorse, or instead have him face a steady stream of negativism towards his actions?
...Need I go on?opcorn:
Understand that it's the principle of allowing someone to carry on as near to normal after they have committed a crime.lol there is a MASSIVE difference between a scammer and a paedophile.
But back to the point.
I feel the person who scammed would just make another account and just scam again.
The point is it makes it more difficult for them to sell their shit as they have low credibility as a new user; as well as having to deal as someone else cos their names and address should be published on BT, and I don't think most decent people would want thieves enjoying this site.Slarsenr; said:If you get banned theres always ways to get access again anyway, so the red sta thing is a good idea.
My bad I tried but it said I have to spread the rep around.lol you didn't rep me
Woah calm down buddy, im glad I made you so happy!1) - It would be difficult for them to participate on the site fully i.e. further market place transactions, pictures in battles et cetera if they were still allowed access. 2) I have never said ban automatically because it is so obvious that I need not to! OBVIOUSLY the mods would give the scammer a chance to pay back like they did with BBC Joe.
3) "Constant reminder is to a scammer is a bad thing" as we don't want negative talk hijacking a thread because someone will always feel obliged to bring it up and ruin the thread.
And as far as
"face a steady stream of negativism towards his actions". hahahahahahahahahahahahaha Are you serious? Do you seriously think that it is gonna bother someone who had the audacity to steal nearly half of $1000 in the first place that they get some shit of an internet forum?????? Give me $400 for free and criticise me every time you see me post and I assure you I will not be bothered.
What kind of loony left "THINKING" is this? Let criminals carry on with a warning badge but enjoy their online company anyway! THINK about what you are asking for. Great "THOUGHT-LEADERSHIP" i.e. just saying "yes" to a dumb idea.
You just don't get it, do you? It's called discourse. I'm all for idea generation but be prepared to have it argued against, which is all I am doing. You're problem is that you are taking it as a personal attack, hence your command of 'shut-up'. LMAO Yessir, whatever you say.Woah calm down buddy, im glad I made you so happy!
I'm sorry but I still feel that constant negativity is still better than nothing at all. Last I checked banning hasn't done Diddi any good on getting his money back either, so you need to stop talking as if denying someone the use of a forum is working either.
An idea has to have supporters in order to flourish, if everyone viewed things the way you did this world would not advance because no one would support one another in order to get things done. So many things in life you use everyday start from one person imagining and others believing, so you can shut-up about people "following" an idea just because YOU think its dumb.
ok man.My bad I tried but it said I have to spread the rep around.
