Releasing April 1 of this year is the second official release chronicling the massive fashion juggernaut in the form of BAPE ARCHIVES by NIGO. In NIGO’s own words, “in 2008 Rizzoli published the official archive book A BATHING APE. If that book, which shows all of the signature pieces, is the “A Side,” this BAPE ARCHIVES by NIGO, whose contents have been selected by me from my perspective as both a maker and a collector, is the “B Side” – a personal, underground archive.” Choosing 108 items from a list in the tens of thousands, this will surely tickle the fancy of all those who hold BAPE so dear in their heart.

^Well it's nice to look at but after looking at it once I just put it in my wardrobe and never really looked at it again.

It's good for a coffee table type of person which is someone I'm not.

I love the rizzoli book. I bring it out again and again. Great to just flip through when you are bored and want some nostalgia. I hope this B Side book is as easy to obtain.

i wouldnt worry about the difficulty obtaining the book. doesnt appear to be limited and the distribution info already includes bape stores in japan and internationally, zozo, amazon, and more. would be nice if our domestic amazons carry them so we can get free shipping, but ive ordered things from amazon japan plenty of times with no problem if it came down to that. i'll be keeping a close eye on amazon usa to see if it pops up. usually preorders are cheaper than retail, but at the same time i would think it would be listed by now if it's an april drop. i cant find it. only on amazon jp. it's 2800yen and 3000yen to ship to the US lol. the ISBN is listed on the amazon page if you want to check w/ any websites or bookstores in your area to see if it's on order.

Ya it's not on Chapters.ca yet which is where I got the first one, much cheaper on pre-order, and I think free shipping even.
