I have my Net/Net and my Black/Pinks... and every day I look at them... I can't help but say to myself... Did I really sleep outside for these ??? Lol... I mean.. seriously guys... Has hype on the Yeezy's died ??? Have they died period in a fashion sense ?? I haven't seen Kanye, Jay , or Cudi where them in a while... And they used to be the main ones killing them ... All I've seen as of late are the Kanye LV's on they're feet... I don't know man... I'm considering selling mines. I just want you guys' opinion on this! As much as I love Yeezy's.. I cant be bias

its like any shoe, the hype dies but the value stays
look at london sb's or paris sb's they have risen in price over the years but there is zero public hype.

there are hardly any legit ones around for sale, so the price has kinda gone up, i reckon it will go even higher within a year. but the hype will lower as they become collectors items. im surprised they were hyped for so long, it was almost a year since kanye wore em at grammys till release

IMO someone buys shoes when they ACTUALLY LIKE the shoes..

Maybe people are starting to see sense and are seeing beyond the hype. Yeezy's are shit and they look terrible on nearly everyone who wears them.
Aaron, prices on shoes like the London have definately come down a lot. They haven't held their value at the level they once were a few years back. Everything has its peaks and troughs though and no doubt the price will rise again at some point. As much as I loved my Londons I just didnt like how they looked on.

The price on Yeezy's has dropped a ton, not going for much over retail these days. I paid about 5 bills for the tan's but sold them within days because they didnt fit. I love the look of them but am glad I got my money back while I still could.

I'm 22 and I totally agree with you vanity.
They were never alive, and people spending $500 on a pair that is just crazy. I could buy a lot of sneakers for $500 instead of 1 pair of yeezys

the price hasnt dropped a tonne.. only on tans ...+ zens have stayed level. blacks seem to have increased as theyre actually dope

but people dropped well over $1k on what the dunks etc

maybe people are realizing that they look ridiculous in them and they cannot even come close to pulling them off once they bought them...these are the kind of shoes that only look good on kanye etc when they are wearing them on stage of on the red carpet.

Oh they have deffinately all dropped. Just look on ebay, like 3 months ago all auctions where ending at $520+ (same w/ on forums, people arent selling them for as much as before). Now they arent going for much at all. The black and pinks are still holding the most value but people arent really buying.

I love my yeezys cause they look dope imo. if anyone thinks they look bad i respect that cause its matter of taste.

this is by far the dumbest question thread ever.
just because Pharrell stopped wearing SBs , doesnt mean it's dead (although it kinda has been lately with the shitty new designs)
Rappers dont wear that shit anymore because they have so much money and they are, as Jay-Z said, "On to the next". It's a marketing movement. They wear the shit to sell the shit. And since yeezys sold out in stores, they don't need to wear it anymore. only people really selling it now are re-sellers and ye isnt making money off of that nor does he care about re-sellers
