Well MBM pointed out the question in the new website FAQ about the possibility of wholesaling, and it prompted me to ask them about it...
Just got a response from Bape. Subject to an approval process where they review the brands your store is currently stocking, and if you are willing to spend enough (didn't disclose an amount), they will let your store stock Bape.
Hate to be a hater and naysayer, but this is the true beginning of the end of the brand IMO. I suppose we will have to see how lenient they are with the wholesaling, if they only sold it to stores like End, or Haven, or some other high caliber retailers than it wouldn't be completely terrible... but if I see it alongside Ten Deep, Mishka or whatever hood brand is cool right now in every other store in the mall, I am officially over it.
I also can't imagine the price retailers will have to resell at, Bape can barely sell in North America at their own retail price these days.
This made up my mind about the indigo collection shark I considered buying today haha. Depending where this goes I may be selling off even more of my collection...
