Starting this thread as a spin off of the raw denim thread. Post up progress photos of your natural leather items like belts, wallets. ipod cases stuff like that.

This is my Wins House wallet. Just got it today. The wallet is pretty thick right now but it should flatten out over time.

Got some photos my business partner took when she went to the store. The owner had an amazing wallet that he had been wearing for over 7 years!!!! Will post some photos of that when we get them off her phone.

Best idea is to measure a belt that you have right now, from the hole you buckle it at to the end of the buckle. Don't go by the size on the belt or the size on your jeans, because they've most likely stretched and changed shape a bit. General rule of thumb is that your belt size is 2" larger than your waist where you wear your jeans though.

really feeling the nudie wallets but i keep my cash in the front pocket and only carry id, metro card and debit card so i havent the need for a wallet so i carry a 2 slot card holder with a magnetic $ clip. really small gets the job done

NO

nudie wallets are horrible quality. the threads come off really easy, the leather is of very low grade.
you wont be able to get good progress from it, and even if your not looking for that, you can get something 10x better for that price or for a little more... (ie. our very own obbigood or corter)

and gen, buy some mink oil and apply it on with a white cloth
it polishes, softens and prevents water/stain damage. you might also want to add water repellent if you're planning to go out in the snow with them. very nice boots btw =D

you dont really have to clean them, the old, worn in look is just superb. just do the oiling to re-moisturize them

^yeah the nudie wallets are very pricey, out of my range to want to pay for a wallet, for that i'd cop some sneaks, never can have enough sneaks.

-mink oil is great to get old boots nice and softened, back to shape, but use sparingly when the leather dries out. since mink oil is made from minks fatty acids... over time those acids will deteriorate the threading but this quite some time, maybe 5-10years. overall mink oil is GREAT to have on hand for leather, wallets and jackets where flexibility is essential to make it last. but boots, the softening will deform it by making it too soft and stretchable after awhile. THE BEST product for boots is Obenauf's Heavy Duty Leather Preservative this is the beast of leather moisturizer/protectors

you sir, are 100% correct. glad to have you on board. ive heard great things about obenaufs, but you usually have to buy it online and pay for shipping and all that. just a pain in the butt for me. instead, i just went for a 5 minute drive and got my mink oil, so it was a much more convenient option..

People, stay away from Neatsfoot Oil. Specific chemicals and ingredients in it deteriorate the threads and are harmful to your leather. Don't gamble. Just thought i'd let you know.

and treasure.... oh man POST PICS!!! flat head stuff is the best....

No Sea, I didn't made for Doc, I made for beautiful_Freak :) Doc got from Corter, and I represented beautiful_Freak hehe. We had a little contest, friendly contest.

For this wallet, the external is the same, just a little longer and slimmer just like Petrick said. I custom made it for him. It was a very challenging and enjoyable experience. I have to make sure all his requests are met and at the same time the design must appeal to him. We discussed over email with drafted design drawings for 1 week :)
Very enjoyable.
