your lucky. at least you can file a claim. i am so far past the deadline for claims its not even funny.

one other thing. does anybody know if there is any way that a claim can be filed or if anything can be done if the deadline has past? i think i'll email paypal asking them the same thing.

I paid dknice aka bapehead7148(bt2) aka Dwayne Davis (paypal name) for his blue bape shark hoody size Large on 05-14-2008, 11:30 AM. As you can clearly see when you look at the bottom right hand corner of your computer screen and click on the time a calender comes up. Yes you are reading correctly, today's date is June 07, 2008. It has been 24 days and I have not received the jacket.
This was his response on 05/27/08 when I emailed him, "Im sorry, the package was sent back to me saturday because the zip code was wrong, it appeared that my "3" looked like an "8". This time im jus going to print the shipping label like i should have done. i apologize."
I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE DEAL IS WITH THIS GUY, BUT I'M GETTING PISSED. I'M READY TO OPEN UP A DISUPTE. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS??

 

if hes gonna print a shipping label via paypal it will have a tracking number, thats your best bet before opening the dispute, give him a chance, 24 days sounds plausible for the jacket being sent of and sent back. if he doesnt print the label via paypal, request him get a tracking number when he ships so you know he sent it

 

I'm trying to be patient. The dude just hasn't contacted me at all after he said the jacket got sent back. His pm box is full on bt2. He isn't responding to pms on bt or his email address. I don't know about anyone else on here but I check my email 10 times a day and my bt and bt2 25 times a day. Suspicious?

I really don't see what the big deal here is. If you pay for something and don't get it, just do a chargeback with your CC company. Got your money back and wasted the scammers time.

 

The only way you can do a chargeback with your credit card company is if it is an actual credit card. If it is a debit card I believe you have to open up a dispute with your bank against whoever you sent payment to. I believe you have better chances of getting your money back going thru the resolution center/paypal although you may have a good point for this reason: let's just say that paypal doesn't rule in your favor..........you could then go to your bank and dispute it. Anyone have any ideas on this? It'd be kinda like double jeopardy huh?

sometimes the only way to contact the scammer is via bt, and if he is banned then there is no way to contact him.

I thinks it's been like 24 days or so. I was going to give the guy until tomorrow for the benefit of the doubt but wow. I've only had to open a disupte one other time before.

I'm escalating it to a paypal claim. And I have pictures of the idiot b/c he's dumb enough to scam someone knowing that all his posts are recorded on bapetalk. I'm not broke and if I didn't have to work i'd fly there and drop a brick on his head. This prick is just an expense at this point.
