I know bape has been around for like 12 or 13 years or something like that, and started as a shirt line, but when did the shoes come about? I read in a book at urban outfitters the other day that they came out in 2002. This seems wrong to me. Ive read about soundgarden and beastie boys rockin bape back in the day, maybe it was just the shirts? I remember first seeing the shoes in 2002 but figured I was late. Any info? Thanx bapers.
