I am so sick of seeing threads on "how do i wash my bape/bbc tee or item"

teeshirts
handwash and hang dry
or
machine wash on a delicate cycle inside out and hangdry
if you are incapable of doing that
your probably a teenager or younger at home so give it to your mom and say be gentle

hoodies
id reccomend dry cleaning and make sure you tell them not to wash it and actually dry clean it
or
be careful and hand wash hang dry

denim
you shouldnt wash painted or raw denim
just rock it occasionally if its either of those and be gentle so you dont have to wash it

iif you MUST
inside out
cold water
hang dry

Hey guys sorry if its in the wrong section, didnt know where to post this havent been on in awhile. Just a quick question do you guys suggest buying used Bapes that are kind of dirty? My worry is the inside of the sneakers. I just want them for beaters. Is there any good way of cleaning them really well in the inside?

Take a whiff and if they stink, I'd pass. If they actually have dirt on the inside, I'd pass. If they are damaged on the inside, you could use after market insole.

At the bowling ally's, where shoes are shared, they use industrial strength lysol to kill any germs or fungus like athletes foot. good luck!!!!

Dry cleaning is bullshit. Unless you can find someone you know or really trust, they are going to look at your Bape shit no differently than they look at Fubu and throw that shit in the washer and dryer.

There is nothing wrong with people wanting to care for the items they spend lots of hard earned money on. Or in some cases their parents hard earned money haha.

look i've been telling people this for years..........if you can't pay 5 bucks to get this stuff dry cleaned then you don't need to be buying it.......just go in and tell them "hand wash air dry please"..........

Shirts are generally dry over night. I honestly never wash my hoodies but couldn't seem them taking much longer. I don't really wash jeans either haha. Unless your partying hard in them just febreeze them a bit and hang them to dry.

Hang them in your closet with a couple inches between each T. I do this at home and they dry fine over night. They really don't need to hang outside.

I had the dreaded t-shirts ruined in the wash moment (I know I should have had it dry cleaned). My girlfriend washed some of my BBC and Bape t-shirts and of course she mixed some colors with the whites and ruined two of my Ts. Luckily the dry cleaners was able to remove the color stains, but now the quality of the shirts are ruined. FML.

Like the kinda stuff thats caked on a surface that's not seen daylight for months! lol.

I know I shouldn't have tried to recreate one of those scenes from Indiana Jones...

Anyhow, I've been told I should get a lint/pethair remover and try that. Think thats a good idea?

Ill try your idea later and hopefully it'll work.

Shonen-Sama! Help me!

Got my orange tiger down jacket dirty, theres thick dust on the sleeves and I'm not sure what to do to get it out. It's 'Specialist-cleaning' only but theres gotta be something I myself can do hopefully.

what do you mean by thick dust on the sleeves? I usually use a clean towel and get it wet but not too wet to clean the whole down jacket when it gets dirty in the rain, dust...etc.

^やばい desu, remember not to use any bleach type of soap or else the part will be whiter than the rest of the hat.

^^^^i'm sure that you could but imo it's always best to just take it to the cleaners......all you have to do is tell them "hand wash air dry please"........in about 3 or 4 days and for about 5 bucks you'll get your shark back good as new

Question: Took a red Tiger to the drycleaner and she told me that she thought the red coloring on the Tigers mouth would fade onto the white teeth - has anyone had this problem?

heres another few hints
washing clothes with detergents with softener additives, or using softeners kill colours.
why?
the softeners bind to the fabric and you end up with that light whitish hazing you see on coloured fabrics after the wash and dry. this is what looks like colour fading.
the detergents that advertise colour boosters etc, they have a chemical which releases this bond of soap and or softener, allowing for a cleaner rinsing cycle so your clothes dont get that hazing effect.
most treatments you use for dying fabric can be used to restore fabric colour... salt, vinegar etc (use caution, test a small area)
and you neednt much of any detergent to wash clothes properly, if youre fading colours, use less soap. and dont jam pack the washer, it should only be about 2/3 or less full of clothes. clothes need room to swim to get washed, and the less packed the less aggravating friction around other clothes to cause fading, wear and tear.
one of the best detergents is woolight
another good tool is a pill shaver, its an electric shaver for clothes. which is great for wool. you can give the outside/inside a buzzing and itll keep the fabric smooth and the colours brighter looking because of the lack of fuzzy stray fibers hovering above forming a cloud of hazy white.
i shouldnt have to say much about separating colours and what not, but it helps. only wash like colours together... the darker the fabric... the colder the water should be to retain colour, since heat causes dye bleeding.
