Not at all but your rules are stupid. If someone really wants to scam you do you think the fact of sending it in a week is going to stop them? You cant claim your money back from paypal within a week anyway as you have to give the seller reasonable time to send.

You are missing the most important part anyway which is the ebay auction. By doing this and then paying by paypal ebay cover you completely if there are issues.

ok first off I’m not trying to draw a line in the sand and say "these are the rules that everyone has to live by".....all I’m saying is that for me personally I want to know that when I pay for an item that I’m not going to have to wait a week just for the person to ship things it off....now how the hell is that stupid??? I never said using an eBay auction was a bad thing....hell that just gives you one more safety net....it's like you've made up your mind on everything that I’m going to say before I’ve said it....imo 3 days is more then enough time to do something that shouldn't take more than 30 min out of your day.....now sure theirs been times when for whatever reason the post office is packed but for the most part it's in and out....if your going to bitch about having to stand in line to ship then don't sell....if you don't like or agree with my views that an item should go out within 72 hours then fine......but I’m willing to bet that most everyone else around here would appreciate it

how about we ask anyone that's ever got an item from me.....ask them if getting their product right away was stupid opcorn:.....hell the most famous seller in the net is pondon and she get's shit out almost as fast as you can hit the BIN button....i'm in the US, everything that i get from pondon is coming from Japan, and it never takes more then 5 or 6 days for me to have it in my hands.....yea that's real stupid :hmm:

Mate, you`re really starting to piss me off now. We do not have some "special arrangement" with Joe or anything of the sort. The reason he was here for so long was I and all the other Mods wanted Diddi to get his money back, nothing else. Like Yom said, he will still be able to log in, but won't be able to use the site.

We have his IP so if he joins again, we`ll ban him, end of.

Yep great rule especially when the buyers paypal account isnt confirmed and they can, chargeback the money when you have sent the item so you lose out.

Just for the record if the buyer pays with a Credit Card they can do a chargeback in most cases for up to 180 days so it wouldn't matter if you wait 7 days or even 46 days where they can no longer file a dispute through paypal. On the 46th day they could still file and win a chargeback. You can file them for several reasons like unauthorized use, merchandise etc. When they file unauthorized it is usually because the card is stolen and you lose your money + item, when they file merchandise they are required to return their item since that is disputing the merchandise and not saying their card was used w/ out permission.

As someone else mentioned PayPal requires you ship with in 7 days in order to be covered by seller protection. That right there is going to protect you against unauthorized use chargebacks as long as you are shipping to a confirmed address w/ tracking. It won't protect you from merchandise chargebacks but those are really a different thing and it is extremely difficult to win 1.

i agree completley with you vanity. When i sell item on ebay or bt2 im all about customer satisfaction and thats why all my customers love me. In most cases I get the item shipped out same day as payment is recieved or if its past the time the post office is closed then i ship it out the next day. Its just always nice for a customer to be satisfied. Theres no need to take more than 3 days to ship any item out.

Plenty of legit people here, transactions go on everyday and theres that odd one that goes down but for the most part people are happy.

Most sites with a MP are like this anyway, if you're really worried about it take it to Ebay where its much safer.
