tried a lint remover ? it's a little machine with blades that cut off and remove the unnecessary fluff and lint off your garments.
only about 10 bucks from the local store
it will be a bitch to buzz and shave it all off, but the end result is close to "brand new" look hope that helps.

yea those are lint removers with the sticky take or red an black felt brush

The other thing he was describing was a Lint Shaver which does wonders just make sure you dont cut any strings because the blades are strong enough to cut it clean it wil just pull it an fuxk it up more

 

last time i removed the lint and balls of cloth i used small fabric shears / scissors.
took about 10 mins, but i got all the loose threads, balls of cloth and even got it all even
