im pretty sure the denim weight is determined by ounce per yard square. so its not the actualy weight of the jeans themselves, its the weight of the fabric being used.
ill double check that.. can anyone confirm?
it's the thickness of the denim being used, the heavier it is, the more dense the denim is, hence for a more define overall fading of the jeans. only problem is that they take a while to break in since the fabric is much more thicker, but once u do even subtle fades around the knee are much more defined and stuff like train tracks just come out lookin orgasmic lol
@treasurehoard
that's a really good fit for u on the jeans, and should look even better once it loosens up a bit, i personally wouldn't be able to wear these at all since i got thunder thighs, and the fact all the shoes i wear are sneakers so this fit for me is a no no. but for u it's all good
@everyone wondering but STF
depending on which levi STF u buy, the sizing works a bit weird, if ur buyin the levi's from the flagship store or macy's i think you would be getting the shitty ass version of the STF, where the stiching is very sloppy and shit, if u happen to get those just keep true to size, as they won't really shrink much. But if u happen to get the levi stf from 1947 i think.....it's the year, then u need to actually size UP 1 or 2 as they sorta shrink like a bitch when you soak them. personally i can't wear 501 as they fit like stockings on my legs so...fuck tat LOL, but the 50 or 30 dollar stf are good entry raw denim for ppl who are just gettin into the game.
